DIA Westin Hotel and Public Transit Center (PTC)
Corey Electrical Engineering, Inc. has been deeply entrenched this last year in the South Terminal Redevelopment project out at DIA. There are three major aspects of the STRP project that we have been involved in recently:
DIA PTC
The Public Transit Center (PTC) is the five-level train/bus/vehicle terminal where the RTD Commuter Rail will come into DIA from Denver Union Station via the East Corridor Commuter Rail. Just last year we completed the final electrical construction document submittal working as a sub-consultant to ME Engineers, Inc.
Corey committed two of our full time professionals (on-site at ME Engineers’ office) responsible for the coordination of the lighting and power design and the REVIT electrical integrations for the PTC.
DIA Westin Hotel
The 14 story Westin Hotel will sit above the PTC. Our portion of the design project consisted of the power design and REVIT MEP integration for the hotel infrastructure located within the five levels of the PTC. Corey committed two of our full time professionals, working in close coordination with our prime contractor BCER who was responsible for the overall Westin Hotel MEP design.
